ROAR Wines is a family run winery specializing in small lots of Santa Lucia Highland’s Pinot Noir, Syrah and beginning in the summer of 2009, Chardonnay.
Gary and Rosella Franscioni, proprietors of ROAR Wines, own the famed Rosella’s Vineyard while also co-owning and managing the prized Garys’ Vineyard with Gary Pisoni of Pisoni Vineyard. The wines being produced by ROAR Wines, Pisoni Vineyards, and a handful of a few other wineries lucky enough to access these vineyards are truly special wines worth seeking out.
The 2008 Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir blends fruit from ROAR Wines various vineyards resulting in an exquisite Pinot Noir.

Winery Tasting Notes:
Medium and bright ruby color, with a good fruity nose of ripe cherries, blueberries and root beer. The full palate has very good acidity and has all the flavors of the nose with the addition of raspberries and cinnamon. The acidity and oak on the finish blend nicely with the fruit and spice.
