What are some fine and expensive red wine that also has a great taste?

December 13th, 2009

Do you know any fine wine that tastes good? How much and where can you purchase them? If you don’t mind sharing, how old are you?

(short survey for designing project)

Old enough to have purchased and consumed these wines.

Martin & Weyrich Il Palio Sangiovese 2005
Brass Tacks Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
Estancia Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
Wente Sandstone Merlot 2006
Hahn Estates Monterey Merlot 2005

These can be found at most liquor stores.

Chateau de Merde is a good one. Also try Domaine de La Grossbitte

    styles I like:

    Shiraz
    Cabernet Sauvignon
    Pino Noir
    blended reds

as for brands and prices they vary from about $3 a bottle to $300+
for cheap decent wine, if you have a Trader Joe’s in your area, they have Charles Shaw wine, that varies from $2-4 depending on your location… and is fairly good stuff.

as for age, not sure why its relevant, but I’m in my mid-30s
