Are Sauvignon Blanc and Malbec supposed to be chilled? How much? And how to keep chilled (driving to party)?

December 27th, 2009

(The drive is almost an hour, you see.)

Sauvignon Blanc is very nice chilled, chill it ahead in the refer and then pack it in a towel or traveling wine bag (insulated). Malbec is a red and should be consumed at 65F so chilling isn’t necessary.

White wine is supposed to be chilled.

As for keeping it chilled on your drive, an ice chest ought to do the trick.
