Ken Wright is one of Oregon’s stand out producers, and we both enjoy his wines from time to time. He’s been making great wine in the area for a long time, and has long focused on single vineyard bottles, which provide an interesting viewpoint into the area’s pinot noir. Dan also brought back a bottle from his Christmas trip to share with Chas as a mystery pour. How do you drink your wine?

6 yr old, 15.3 gray Selle Francais mare. Well started under saddle & schooling over small fences. Loves to jump and has free jumped up to 4′. She clips, bathes, and hauls with no problems. Would make a wonderful Pony Club, OHSET, 4-H or local system horse.

A favorite of ours was in the mix, and we were both nervous that our previous impressions wouldn’t hold up. But, that’s part of the reason for doing it blind. The truth comes out! What was your landmark wine of 2009?
